My Name is Love ( Thai Movie)

A boy who doesn't believe in love ends up falling for the girl next door that he once scorned.

A close friend introduced this film to me. Since she said it's a romantic comedy (a genre which I totally dig), I instantly searched for this movie even though the only Thai films I ever watched were A Crazy Little Thing Called Love and Friendship. The movie last for over two hours, but my every minute spent on watching it was so worth it. I had several laugh -out-loud moments while watching, and the lead male character Que is so cute with his messy long hair. The movie was very funny, but halfway past it entered the drama. This movie has some scenes some of us might relate to, like letting go of someone we love so they can be with another person better than us. The scenes towards the end almost made me shed a tear, like the scene where Que tried so hard to tell Kerr (lead female character) that he loves her, even though he knows that he will only say out words like "I wan to touch your breast" etc instead of "I love you" because he is now a cupid man. It was funny at first but when the look on his face was showing a lot frustration and sadness, I was moved. And then there is Jo and Milk. I really thought that Milk was going to end being married to her new boyfriend! But Jo made his last effort by writing on the greetings book all the things he knows Milk likes. And voila! They ended up being together, just like Que and Kerr :) Ah, love.. It makes you do stupid things you don't know you're capable of doing. All in all, I recommend you this film if you like feel- good movies and cute leading man. HAHAHA :)

Here's a Youtube copy of the movie, enjoy!
